Join us on our patio for a tasting of 13 wines from the top growing regions of Mexico! Hosted by Malcolm Riddle of Salveto Imports. Old and new world techniques, a blend of international grapes (most notably Nebbiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and even Aglianico and Gewurztraminer), rich clay and sand soils, a blend of coastal and higher altitude climates, and a history as the birthplace of winemaking in North America make Mexico possibly the most exciting wine making region in the world! Only in recent years has winemaking in Mexico exploded as a new frontier for discovery and development, and we are delighted to share some of the country’s best wines for the first time. Accompanied by light antipasti prepared by Chef Lou and his team.
At our tastings, we offer competitive retail pricing. Case and mixed-case orders receive a 10% discount. Wines ordered are made available for pick-up generally within seven to ten days. The cost is $52 per person, and includes tax and gratuity. Call 540-253-5501 to make your reservation.
