Join us for a Celebration of the Judgement of Paris: A 50 year anniversary! The historic 1976 blind tasting that shocked (and outraged) the judges and the world when California wines were ranked higher than the wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy. In a time where only France was believed capable of producing world-class wines, California was established as a premier wine region and the world of wine was forever changed. The tasting will feature 13 French and American wines including California’s Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, the winning white in the 1976 competition, accompanied by light antipasti prepared by Chef Lou and hosted by Kevin Lewis of RNDC.
At our tastings, we offer competitive retail pricing. Case and mixed-case orders receive a 10% discount. Wines ordered are made available for pick-up generally within seven to ten days. The cost is $52 per person, and includes tax and gratuity. Call 540-253-5501 to make your reservation.
