Well, we finally talked her into it. Lydia will be running the show on Monday, March 29th for her first virtual cooking class. Some of you may have tasted her home cooked meals when we were restricted to carryout dining only, so you know she is no amateur in the kitchen. In fact, Lydia graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. That is where Lou and Lydia met so many years ago. Today, Lou often asks himself how he was so lucky to be chosen by Lydia in a class of less than 100 women and more than 10x the men, but that is a whole other story. Spaghetti and meatballs seems like the quintessential Italian-American meal, but it wasn’t until Lydia travelled to Le Marche, the region in Italy her father’s family is from, that she discovered how regional her own family’s Italian-American cooking was. See for yourself what makes Lydia’s meatballs so unique and delicious. The price is the cost of the pantry ingredients listed below, suggested for 2 people.
What you will need from our Pantry:
Mancini maniche pasta $11
Quart of marinara $15
Lydia’s meatball blend, parmigiano Reggiano stagionato $40
