Join chef Lou for his second virtual cooking class on Monday, July 20th! Chef Lou has chosen to demonstrate one of Italy’s most popular steak dishes, la Tagliata. Unlike the famous bistecca alla fiorentina, tagliata is a boneless steak grilled and sliced, served over peppery arugula. It is a very traditional and simple dish to prepare, demonstrating only a few ingredients of optimum quality. Chef Lou strays a bit from tradition by using wagyu skirt steak and finishing it with an aged balsamic made from Barbera grapes, but what is more Italian than using the best of what is available to you?! The price is the cost of the pantry items listed below, suggested for 2 people.
What you will need from our Pantry:
True Farms hydroponic arugula $10
Two 6-7oz pieces of wagyu skirt steak $36
Bottle of organic Mostagro balsamic $24
How it Works:
Order all your ingredients by calling us at 540-253-5501 and to set a pick up date and time.
